HISTORY
Forthright's proven capability in transaction processing and resolution system design stems from over two decades as the administrator of arbitration and mediation claims for the highest volume dispute resolution provider in the United States, the National Arbitration Forum (FORUM). The FORUM provides access to affordable civil justice through alternative dispute resolution services to consumers and businesses alike. A highly experienced and distinguished independent panel of over 1,600 former judges and seasoned lawyers-selected and managed by the FORUM-ensures that parties receive a faster, lower-cost, and superior alternative to litigation.
Originally part of the FORUM, Forthright became a stand-alone company in 2007 to serve a broader set of client needs and expand the reach of its offerings.
Notable Forthright success stories include:
- Administration and optimization of New Jersey's No-Fault Insurance PIP (Personal Injury Protection) Dispute Resolution Program since January of 2004 as part of the FORUM;
- Administration of claims under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) for the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) since 1999 as part of the FORUM. More than 10,000 domain name disputes have been filed worldwide through the state-of-the-art case management system.
